Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

This is a really really late post, I meant to put this up weeks ago in the midst of fall pumpkin-ness! Now I’ve moved on a bit seeing as we’re officially at the countdown to Christmas and gingerbread and cinnamon scented candles. 🙂



  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup can pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup water


1. Preheat oven to 350

2. Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Mix wet ingredients together and slowly add dry mixture. Grease baking pan and pour mixture in.

3. Using a piece of tin foil and make a tent over the pan. Bake for 30 minutes, take off tinfoil. Bake for another 30-45 minutes, until center is done. (65-75 minutes total). Enjoy!
